Shelley Playground upgrades have started!

The Shelley foreshore is an iconic part of the Riverton electorate, and I am delighted to share with you the exciting news that we are upgrading the very popular playground. 

With the City of Canning, we are creating a multi-generational play space which will make it an even more vibrant community area for families and children to play.

This upgrade to the Shelley Playground has had a massive funding boost from the Cook-Labor State Government in early 2024, where through Lotterywest, we committed $750,000.

The new Shelley Playground is set to be the first playground in the surrounding area to offer a space for children of all ages and abilities.

This playground rebuild is set to be a huge addition to the communities entertainment and activity facilities for kids.
